ANAM CRÉ

Situated in Silver Birch woods in the beautiful Ballygriffin valley, three miles from Kenmare town, Anam Cré offers stylish and well appointed self-catering accommodation, fully equipped pottery studio, residential and day classes in all aspects of clay work and an exclusive ceramic art gallery.

Anam Cré can accommodate up to 12 people. Single and double rooms are available and all are en-suite. Ground floor rooms provide access for disabled visitors. There is a well equipped kitchen with a decked terrace leading off it. After a busy day sightseeing, guests can relax in the lounge in front of the large stone-built fireplace with its aromatic turf fire.

The studio area is fully equipped for all clay activities. There are potters' wheels, a variety of kilns and a wide range of clays and glazes.

The gallery above the studio features a constantly changing exhibition by local artists and guests and provides visitors with the opportunity to purchase traditionally made Irish crafts.

Anam Cré offers a range of clay-based residential and day courses run by skilled and experienced instructors and artists. Whether you fancy a few hours learning the basics, or a few days polishing up your skills, Anam Cré has a course to suit you.
